FIBR Dorsey Speaker Series
The Dorsey Culinary Arts Speaker Series sends speakers to this Los Angeles inner-city school to inspire high school students and expose them to the myriad of careers available in the food processing industry. Business Owners, Microbiologist, Food Inspectors, Quality Assurance Professionals, Chefs, Authors and others selflessly give their time and share their career and life experiences in this program.
The FIBR Speaker Series, is working in collaboration with Dorsey’s Culinary Arts Instructor, Ms Sonja Mason-Brisco and Lester Malta, Assistant Principal, to support this valuable program.
Many of these students may continue to pursue their culinary education after graduating from High School, at the Culinary Arts program at Los Angeles Trade-Tech College.
